Tools from the STIHL AP system can be operated with both ALLPRO batteries and AP batteries. The AK system and ALLPRO system are not compatible with each other. An AK battery only fits in an AK power tool and an ALLPRO battery fits in all power tools from the previous AP system as well as in third-party power tools approved by STIHL.
Yes, service and support will remain in full effect. Your STIHL Approved Dealer will be able to take care of your AP batteries, chargers and power tools as usual.
While the AK system is primarily for domestic use, the previous AP system offers maximum endurance for professional everyday use and demanding tasks around domestic gardens.
